Hatsune Miku (02-020)
When this card appears, the cost of the next <Magic Girl> type character you play this turn is -4. When your <Magic Girl> type character appears, this card gets +20/+20 until end of turn. Type(s): Magic Girl |
||||
| Thoughts and comments | |||||
| Just like Miku Pt. 1 there’s only one card in this whole set that references magic girls, meaning this is a card explicitly for mixed formats. Magic girl decks in mixed aren’t the strongest, but this card is certainly a welcome addition playing two roles, first in acceleration and then on offense. | |||||

Megurine Luka (02-097)
While this card is in your hand, its cost is -1 for each of your <Swimsuit> type characters on the play area. When this card appears or when your opponent approaches, damages you and causes this card to be put from the top of your deck into your point pile, give 1 of your characters +20/+20 until end of turn. You may ready that character. Type(s): Swimsuit |

| In a way this card’s first ability makes it very similar to Subaru (01-041) from Mayo Chiki. But its second ability makes it so much better. | |||||

Hatsune Miku (02-078)
When one of your characters with the same type as this card approaches and deals damage to your opponent, give 1 of your characters +20/+20 until end of turn. [Main/Both]: Type(s): Kimono |
||||
| Thoughts and comments | |||||
| Currently, there’s no way to build a competitive Kimono deck without using Hatsune Miku cards. Miku Pt. 2 continues to make the card pool even stronger. | |||||

Kagamine Rin (02-093)
If your <Swimsuit> type character approached this turn, you may ready 1 of your characters at end of turn. Type(s): Swimsuit |
||||
| Thoughts and comments | |||||
| The Swimsuit type characters in Miku Pt. 2 are much more useful for mixed formats than the previous set. This makes me happy because my Swimsuit deck is one of my favorite mixed format decks. | |||||

Kaito (02-086)
If you have 5 or more <Kindergarten> type characters on your play area, this card gets +30/+30. When this card appears on the play area, give 1 of your opponent’s characters -20/-20 until end of turn. Type(s): Kindergarten |
||||
| Thoughts and comments | |||||
| The other Kindergarten type characters in this set have no synergy whatsoever. I’m presuming this card is for mixed formats rather than a single title format. But the fact remains that there’s only two other Kindergarten type characters in the entire game, so the purpose of this cycle of cards is lost on me. The best advice I suppose I can give is to wait for more Kindergarten cards before attempting to use this effectively. | |||||

[Main/Opponent]: Search your deck for a card, reveal it and put it into your hand. Then shuffle your deck. |

| There’s been a lot of powerful card tutoring effects in recent sets. I’m not sure what that’s all about, but I’m worried it may be getting out of hand. | |||

Meiko (02-072)
At the beginning of your main phase, you may put a card named 「Meiko」 from your hand onto your play area resting. [Main/Both]: Type(s): Music |
||
| Thoughts and comments | |||
| The full spoiler for Miku Pt. 2 is now out and after looking through the new Meiko cards, even this powerhouse can’t make Meiko a viable deck. | |||

Hatsune Miku (02-002)
If you have characters named 「Kagamine Rin」, 「Kagamine Ren」, 「Megurine Luka」, 「Kaito」 and 「Meiko」 on your play area, this card gets cost +2 and +30/+30. This card doesn’t retreat if it’s being blocked by a cost 2 or lower character. Type(s): (none) |
||||
| Thoughts and comments | |||||
| Now I understand. This cycle of the five main Vocaloids that benefit from being played together rather than individually are the new starter deck rares. I still haven’t seen any other cards that support playing multiple characters yet, so I can’t adequately judge the power of this card. The theme of the abilities only being usable against cost 2 or lower characters continues and I still don’t see it being strong enough to warrant playing these cards together reliably. | |||||

Yowane Haku (02-100)
All of your opponent’s characters get -10/-10 as long as this card is ready. When another character appears or retreats, rest this card. Type(s): Headphones / Music |

| And here’s Haku… Actually a pretty lousy card. That’s all I have to say sadly. | |||

|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| I’m not sure why the ability has to put card from the top of players’ decks into discard piles… It doesn’t make this card any stronger…or weaker really… just annoying. But if there’s a Luka & Miku combo, then there’s hope for my own much desired Miku & Rin combo. | |||||

Meiko (02-076)
When you use this card as source to play a card named 「Meiko」 it provides +1 source. [Main/Own]: Type(s): Music |
||
| Thoughts and comments | |||
|---|---|---|---|
| Ok here’s a great Meiko support card. Now all Meiko needs are some strong cards to help her go on the offense. | |||

Return this card to your hand.

, discard 1 <Kimono> type character. Give 1 of your characters +20/+20 until end of turn. Draw 1 card at end of turn.

Give 1 of your characters named 「Meiko」 +10/+10 until end of turn. If you play an event this turn, ready that character.
