Isara Aomi (01-076)
When this card or a card with the same name or type approaches or blocks, you may either give one of your characters (Active) until end of turn or turn 1 of your opponent’s point cards face down. Type(s): Swimsuit |
|||||
Thoughts and comments | |||||
Getting characters to attack the turn they’re played and taking away your opponent’s resources to play more cards are both very strong abilities and seeing them both on a 1 cost 30/30 makes me nervous to play against an Aomi deck. |

Satsuki Shinonome (01-064)
When you play this card, you may put up to 2 cost 2 or lower <Kimono> 『Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate』 characters from your trash to the play area resting. Type(s): Kimono |
|||||
Thoughts and comments | |||||
The KoiChoco spoiler so far has revealed three other <Kimono> characters that I’m aware of and they all have abilities that put them into your trash as part of the cost to activate them. Looks like this is the card that helps make <Kimono> a viable deck for this title. |

During this card’s approach, if this card and one of your opponent’s characters leaves the play area, return this card from your trash to your hand. Each time one of your characters leaves the play area, this card gains (Active) and +20/+20 until end of turn. Type(s): School Uniform |

There’s a lot going on here. KoiChoco seems to be a title with decent ability to draw cards, so getting a lot of characters on the table shouldn’t be too hard, but having to lose characters to make this card profitable seems wasteful to me. There’s some nice defense cards in KoiChoco as well, but this is just such an original setup that I can’t call this card without seeing the rest of the set. |

This card gets +10/+10 for each card named 「Mifuyu Kiba」 in your point pile. Each time a card gets put into your point pile, you may either ready this card or give it +20/+20 until end of turn. Type(s): School Uniform |
||

Thoughts and comments | |||
This combos great with other Mifuyu Kiba abilities and shouldn’t be hard to take advantage of. This card is going to be super-big, but being big isn’t all it’s cracked up to be when there’s no incentive for your opponent to simply chump block or let this card go through for damage. |

When you play this card, look at the top 5 cards of your deck. You may choose a character from among them with the same name as this card and reveal it. Put it onto the play area or into your hand. Put the other cards on the bottom of your deck. Type(s): School Uniform |
||
---|---|---|---|
Thoughts and comments | |||
This would be a pretty standard ability except that I don’t know of any cards that let you choose to put a card from the top of your deck onto the play area OR into your hand (usually just one or the other). I think you’re typically going to want to put it onto the play area, but it’s a nice option to be able to take it into your hand as source. Or alternatively, alternatively if the revealed card has a “when you play this card,” ability, it won’t trigger when it’s put onto the play area by Aomi’s ability so there’s an added layer of flexibility. |

Posted by on Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate | Hazuki Shinonome (01-009)
[Main/Own]: {0} Choose 1 of your opponent’s characters. Then choose 1 of your characters named 「Hazuki Shinonome」. Until end of turn, your character gets +X/+Y where X is the other character’s AP and Y is the other character’s DP. This turn, when the chosen character blocks one of your characters named 「Hazuki Shinonome」, put the blocking character on the bottom of its owner’s deck. Type(s): Swimsuit / Teacher |

Posted by on Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate | Mifuyu Kiba (01-031)
When this card approaches, its AP becomes 50 until end of turn. When one of your characters named 「Mifuyu Kiba」 blocks, reset the DP of one of your opponent’s characters. Type(s): (none) |
||
---|---|---|---|
Thoughts and comments | |||
At 50/50, this is a great attacker and the second ability allows for some decent defense. It’s not always going to be very useful because it only resets DP, which means any AP boosts will still be able to take out your blocker, but you can definitely force a trade in your favor if you play it right. |

For each of your <Maid> 『Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate』 characters, this card gets +10/+10. When one of your <Maid> characters approaches and deals damage to your opponent, you may move a <Maid> character from your support area to your main area. Type(s): Maid |
||
---|---|---|---|
Thoughts and comments | |||
I now see why you’d want to play some of KoiChoco‘s other <Maid> characters in your support area. The anime had five main girls who will probably all get <Maid> cards, so that’s a potential for these maids to be 50/50, but I wonder if any of the side characters are going to get some <Maid> cards to boost these even bigger…my instincts say probably not. |
